Old Arbat Street
My favorite street in Moscow's is Old Arbat Street.
The first mention of the Arbat was in 1493 as a road leading from the Moscow Kremlin to Smolensk.
The Old Arbat is a picturesque pedestrian street in Moscow. The Old Arbat has the reputation of being Moscow's most touristy street. I love to walk here. This street is very beautiful. Many famous people lived in the Arbat: Pushkin, Tsvetaeva, Vahtangov and many others.
For some time this street has changed a lot. It was paved with stones, placed along the streetlights of the old style, renovated house.
One of the noteworthy places – the wall of house No. 37, which admirers of Victor Tsoi in 1990, has become a place of memory of the singer.
Indispensable attributes of the Old Arbat – street musicians and artists. Every day on the Arbat, dozens of musicians, beginning with guitarists who do not know the music and ending with people with higher education in music. Musicians are always uplifting to everyone who walks in the street.
